YOUR COMPLETE COOCH GUIDE
The best thing about our period undies is they fit into your life, whatever that looks like.
You might sleep in a Revie Shorty, change into a Cindy for a morning walk or workout, shower and pull on a Cole for the day, then come home and put the Revie back on for the night. Or it might be a single pair from your morning routine until you get home and get ready for a date night in the Cindy before curling up at home in the Shorty.
That is the thing about Cooch, the styles work together and effortlessly fit around your day, however it actually goes.

How much do they hold?
Every Cooch pair is rated by how much flow it can handle, measured in tampon equivalents so you know exactly what you're getting.
Light (1 to 2 tampons worth)
Perfect for the last days of your cycle, spotting, or as backup with a cup or tampon on lighter days. The Cindy Period Thong is our light protection style.
Regular (2 to 3 tampons worth)
Your go-to for regular flow days when you want reliable all-day coverage without overthinking it. The Cole Period Panty and The Vallie Period Panty both offer regular protection.
Heavy (3 to 4 tampons worth)
Built for your heaviest days and overnight wear. When you need to know you are covered front to back, all night long. The Revie Period Shorty and The Katie Brief are our heavy protection styles.
Not sure where your flow sits? Start with regular protection. Most people find it covers the majority of their cycle, and you can add a light or heavy pair once you know what you need.

What are Cooch undies made from?
We use all OEKO-TEX certified fabrics across the entire Cooch range. The main fabric is an organic Tanboocel bamboo, chosen for its natural softness, breathability, and antibacterial properties. A small amount of OEKO-TEX certified polyester is blended in to enhance durability, shape retention, and absorbency performance. This thoughtful mix means you get the natural comfort of organic bamboo with the reliable protection you actually need.
We went through years of testing to get here. Years of wearing, bleeding through, adjusting the composition, and starting again. We tested fabric blends that felt great but couldn't hold up. Blends that performed but felt stiff or synthetic. Getting to COOCH took real, unglamorous iteration and we wouldn't have it any other way, because the result is a pair you can genuinely trust.
We are have finally nailed a nautral gusset coming soon..
TANBOOCEL® BAMBOO
From bamboo stalk to buttery-soft fibre here's how it happens.
1. The bamboo
It starts with fast-growing bamboo, one of the most low-impact plants around. Bamboo needs no pesticides to thrive and regenerates quickly, making it a naturally renewable resource.
2. Turning bamboo into pulp
The bamboo is harvested and broken down into a cellulose-rich pulp. the raw material that gives the fibre its strength and softness.
3. Dissolving the pulp
This is where Tanboocel® stands apart. Instead of harsh chemical solvents, the cellulose pulp is dissolved using an organic solvent in a closed-loop system. Over 99% of the solvent is recovered and reused in the process, rather than released into waterways or the air.
4. Spinning the fibre
The dissolved cellulose solution is pushed through fine spinnerets and set in a bath, regenerating it into long, continuous fibres. The building blocks of the soft, breathable fabric you feel against your skin.
5. Washing, finishing, weaving
The fibres are washed, spun into yarn, and knitted into fabric, ready to become your favourite pair of undies.
Why it matters
- Naturally soft and breathable
- Made using a closed-loop process that recycles the solvent rather than discharging it
- Bamboo requires minimal water and no pesticides to grow
- Biodegradable at end of life

How to care for your Cooch undies
Looking after your Cooch pairs properly means they will stay soft, absorbent, and long-lasting for much longer. Follow these simple steps and they will keep performing wash after wash.
Step 1: Rinse in cold water straight away
After wearing, rinse your Cooch in cold water as soon as you can. This removes the majority of fluid before it sets into the fabric. Cold water only, never hot, as heat can damage the absorbent layers.
Step 2: Allow to dry before washing
Let your rinsed pair air dry before putting them in the wash. This protects the gusset layers and keeps the fabric performing at its best.
Step 3: Machine wash on a delicate cycle
Pop them in your Cooch Wash Bag and wash on a delicate or gentle cycle. The Wash Bag protects the fabric from friction and tangling with other items in the machine, extending the life of your undies significantly.
Step 4: Air dry
Always air dry your Cooch undies. Avoid tumble drying as heat can break down the absorbent layers over time.
A few things to avoid
No fabric softener. Softener coats the fibres and reduces absorbency over time.
No bleach. Bleach damages the fabric and the gusset technology.
No hot water. Always rinse and wash in cold or cool water.
